Top 3 Pixar Films That Should Never Get A Sequel

They Would Be Loco To Make Another Coco

While they’ve certainly had a few misses in recent years, there can be no denying that when it comes to exquisite animated feature films, Pixar is one of if not the best around. The minds behind the Toy Story franchise have always managed to weave incredible tales together than never fail to deliver in terms of creativity and heart. That being said, while we can appreciate the idea of certain films expanding into a series, there are some stand alone flicks that we pray never get sequels, especially when it comes to these three masterpieces!

Fair warning, we’re about to get into some MAJOR SPOILERS!

#3: “Coco” (2017)

While we would love nothing more than to revisit the Land of the Dead and bare witness to more of Miguel’s amazing performances, we can’t see another reason to revisit the Riveras. They made peace with their past, Miguel achieved his dream of being a musician, they all learned the meaning of family, in all honesty everything was wrapped up so perfectly the last thing we want to see is everything come undone.

#2: “Up” (2009)

Carl and Russell went on the adventure of a lifetime together, not to mention were able to fulfil Ellie’s dying wish of getting their house to the top of Paradise Falls. As a result, Russell found a new father figure in the grumpy codger, and Carl found another reason for living in the wake of his wife’s passing. It was a beautiful ending to a beautiful film, and while we’re sure that these two would have plenty more low-key adventures in the near future, we see no reason to spoil the film’s legacy by jumbling together another globetrotting escapade.

#1: “WALL-E” (2008)

While we could go on and on about about how there’s no further need to touch on WALL-E and EVE’s perfect romance, in someways the film has already rendered any possible sequels redundant. During the credits, we’re treated to a beautifully artistic montage of humanity reclaiming its place on Earth with the help of their robotic companions. In only a few minutes they dictated all events that come after WALL-E and EVE find their happy ending. As a result, they would have to have a pretty good reason to bring these lovable robots back for a sequel.
