If You Can’t Take The Heat…
With the seventeenth season recently coming to an end, Hell’s Kitchen has once again turned off its lights. Given how this latest iteration brought back several contestants from days gone by, it certainly got us reminiscing about the previous competitions. More specifically, the times where Gordon Ramsay lost his mind over their failure to deliver.
With explosive outbursts, verbal beat downs that are on the border of being poetic, not to mention plenty of surprise exits, this series truly has no shortage of hellishly hilarious moments. That being said, which were truly the most shocking? Well, get ready to find out donkeys!
#3: LOOK!
It’s fair to say that throughout the various seasons of Hell’s Kitchen, Chef Ramsay has been faced with multiple cases of culinary incompetency. While some have certainly brought him to breaking point, none have managed to elicit a reaction quite like this one. After it’s revealed that piles and piles of perfectly good capellini have been thrown in the bin, we get to witness what appears to be Ramsay’s mind slowly unravelling.
#2: Joy’s Exit
Season twelve certainly had plenty of strong contestants, but Joy seemed to eclipse them all. Consistently excellent across the board, it looked like she was well on her way to winning the whole thing. That is, until this meltdown happened. After getting into a confrontation with Chef Ramsay over timings, she basically came undone. The highlight was undoubtedly when she walked out of the kitchen, throwing away her dream like it was nothing, in front of Stan Lee no less!
#1: Gordon vs. Joseph
There may be plenty of shouting, but it’s fair to say you won’t find any violence in Hell’s Kitchen. Well, at least until this particular contestant got a little too big for his britches. During elimination night, Joseph is unable to follow the simple instruction of nominating two candidates for the chopping block. Following a Ramsay roasting, he eventually snaps and tries to square up. While zero blows are thrown, it’s still pretty awesome to see Joseph try and act all macho, only to be instantly owned by the celebrity chef.
