You Wouldn’t Like Him When He’s Angry
While longtime fans of this celebrity chef will most likely associate his outbursts with his time on Hell’s Kitchen, you can’t forget that some of his greatest (and most visceral) moments occurred during his tour across America in the hope of breathing new life back into failing restaurants. Kitchen Nightmares had a much more genuine sense to it, and as a result when Mr Ramsay went off the handle, there was nothing false about it. As a result, we got quite the helping of unforgettable moments.

#3: Amy’s Baking Company
The one that couldn’t be saved. In spite of his best efforts, Gordon was woefully unprepared to take on the combined madness of Sammy and Amy, whose combined delusions of grandeur forced him to give up on his plans of assisting them. That’s not to say things didn’t end of a positive note, as their insanity ended up capturing the eyes of the nation. Their infamy grew to such an unprecedented level that the show decided to do a follow up episode, and yes, the duo were just as crazy as before.
#2: Hello, My Name’s NINO!
Gordon certainly got into his fair share of confrontations with the eponymous owner, to the point where it looked like Nino’s inability to accept the truth was going to end in a brawl. While he somewhat managed to turn things around, there’s a reason why this episode has been turned into a meme, and that would be one piece of spoken dialogue. While mocking his brother of his lack of contribution, Michael leaps out of his seat and declares the immortal words that every Kitchen Nightmares fan now holds dear.
#1: You French Pig
There have been many arrogant restaurant owners that Gordon has had to face-off against throughout the show’s multiple seasons. While many came close, none have quite managed to eclipse his final bout with the Secret Garden’s owner Michel. After crafting a superior menu to help bring the restaurant back from ruin, the prideful Frenchman abandons it at the last second in favor of his own. Infuriated by this, the two get into a heated argument, with Gordon dishing out what might be his most aggressive verbal beatdown to date.
