Now, let’s get into this week’s standout lists:

#3: Top 10 Things in Spongebob That Make No Sense

Growing up, at the first chime of the pirate’s “Ohhhhhhh”, we all knew it was time for “SpongeBob SquarePants”! This animated Nickelodeon classic was widely adored for it’s goofy and loveable characters, as well as it’s unforgettable (for better, or worse) theme song. With that said, as the show’s dedicated audience began to age, some of the elements of Bikini Bottom became questionable and clearly, according to this list, we’ve all noticed. Some popular entries include Mermaidman & Barnacleboy being fish-sized humans, underwater electricity and underwater water, but the top voted suggestion was the possibility of underwater fire…that one’s a bit of a stretch. #2: Another Top 10 Children’s Movies That Adults Like

They may have been marketed towards children and feature classic kid-friendly tropes like loveable main characters, happy endings and catchy songs, but these movies succeeded in entertaining a wider and much more critical audience of adults as well. We’ve been over a brief list of Disney Movies That Adults Actually Like, but this suggestion broadens it’s scope to include a few movies from other studios, as well as live-action movies such as “The Wizard of Oz”, “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “Mary Poppins”. A 40-vote tie solidified two films in the #1 spot: the 2016 animated hit “Zootopia” and the 1988 live-action/animated film “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”. Although “Roger Rabbit” is intended for a more mature audience, given its PG rating, both of these movies balance instances of kid-friendly animation with sneaky adult-oriented jokes and references. Vote HERE on which children’s movies you think adults can also enjoy!

#1: Top 10 Best Pixar Couples

This week’s top voted list is one that highlights the romantic bonds present between the characters in many popular Pixar films and although their relationships aren’t typically the center of attention or dominant plot drivers, they’re still goals. Buzz Lightyear and Jessie received numerous votes for their “Toy Story” franchise connection, as did Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl from “The Incredibles”, but both were out-voted by the adorable robot romance between WALL-E and EVE from “WALL-E”. However, in the end, nothing could beat Carl and Ellie’s precious and heartbreaking relationship montage from “Up”. Who is your favorite Pixar couple? Vote HERE!
