Get Your Frown Out of the Upside Down
We may have just entered a new year, but Netflix has us eagerly looking back at 1984 with their recent release of the “Stranger Things” Season 3 teaser trailer. We’ve been patiently waiting for a new season of this Duffer Brothers supernatural drama starring Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown, among others, and while it may be brief and quite ambiguous, the newest teaser below definitely gives us a sneak peak at what’s to come this summer.
The July 4th release date and the show’s promo poster revealing “One Summer Can Change Everything”, allude to a summer break setting, with episode titles like “The Mall Rats” and “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard”. This is an exciting shift from the previous two seasons which took place while Mike, Dustin, Lucas and the other main protagonists were in school during the fall, but we’ll have to wait and see what the past holds for Hawkins since details about this upcoming season are slim, other than the mysterious code featured in the above teaser “when blue and yellow meet in the west”.
