The Academy Has Spoken
They may not have a host, but they’ve got some pretty incredible nominees. It’s been quite a whirlwind for this year’s 91st Academy Awards, but the full list of nominees for the best in all 24 film categories, announced in a live stream this morning by âThe Big Sickâ actor Kumail Nanjiani and âBlack-ishâ star Tracee Ellis Ross, is finally here. This anticipated night of class, highbrow humour and hopefully some unplanned excitement will air live Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on ABC, so if you want to keep up with the action and prepare your predictions, check out the full list of nominees below!

What do you think of the list of nominees? There were definitely some surprises and snubs that everyone is talking about like Bradley Cooper missing the Best Director cut, Timothée Chalamet missing the mark for Best Supporting Actor, Ethan Hawke being left out of the Best Actor category for “First Reformed”, “Hereditary” being left unacknowledged (not even Toni Collette for Best Actress), Morgan Nevilleâs “Wonât You Be My Neighbor?” out for Best Documentary and “Crazy Rich Asians” completely left behind. On a more positive note though, Marvel has their first best picture nominee with “Black Panther” and Netflix is thriving with nominations across the board, so some surprises are happy surprises!
