That’s right, Muschietti’s 2017 horror reboot of the classic Stephen King novel, that made a new generation terrified of clown giggles and red balloons, is being followed by a sequel. The second trailer for IT: Chapter Two has just been released and Stephen King fans are feeling “Suitably unsettledâ€.
Just when you thought The Losers Club left Pennywise behind with their childhood, this new trailer brings them back to where it all began, twenty seven years later.
“You know what they say about Derry- No one who dies here ever really dies†creepily says the shape shifting ghoul, who takes the form of Mrs Kerch in the first teaser.
The monster has survived the kid’s attacks and The Losers Club is suddenly faced with the challenge of taking him on once and for all.
They made an oath and it’s clear from this final trailer that they’re ready to honor it, while Pennywise is ready to greet the Losers Club back to Derry with open arms…and his ghoulish smile. “For 27 years, I dreamt of you.. I craved you.. I missed you!†roars his haunting voice. Now that the characters are brought back together as adults: will they put an end to IT for good??
