There are a lot of different versions of Link in "The Legend of Zelda." For this list, we'll be ranking every incarnation of the hero based on iconicism, their accomplishments, and whatever scrap of personality Nintendo decided to give them. However, we’ll only be looking at versions of Link found in the main “Zelda” series.

In "The Legend of Zelda," Link mostly unlocks items and weapons you'd expect, but these are pretty weird. For this list, we'll be looking at the oddest unlockables seen throughout Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda."

We’re not saying these are the hardest or strongest enemies, just the most irritating.

For this list, we’re judging each “Zelda” soundtrack as a whole to see which entries stand the tallest. However, as much as we love the “Cadence of Hyrule” remixes, we’re only including games from the mainline series.

"Breath of the Wild" places more emphasis on defense than any other "Zelda," and these are the game's best armor sets. For this list, we’ll be going over the most beneficial sets of armor Link can track down in his latest adventure.

These Zelda items are so useful, we'd kill to be able to have them in the real world. For this list, we’ll be shining a light on the most practical items in Link’s expansive inventory.

"The Legend of Zelda" is mostly happy and family-friendly, but it's not without some dark moments. For this list, we’ll be looking at moments in the otherwise whimsical franchise that disturbed or depressed us. We’ll be doing our best to stay away from solely creepy moments as we’ve already made a list for that. As we’re dealing with story elements, a spoiler warning is in effect.

Each "Zelda" game is a commitment, but these will take the longest for most players to beat. For this list, we’ll be delving into the history of Nintendo’s beloved fantasy series to see which entries take the longest to complete. We’re ranking them based on the length of each story, but we’ll also cover averages for completionist runs.
