It’s a great time to be a horror fan. For this list, we’ll be looking at the most critically acclaimed and successful horror movies released throughout the year. To be included on this list, the movie must have been released in 2019. Hence, our countdown will include critically acclaimed horror films including “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” (2019), “It: Chapter II” (2019) and “Doctor Sleep” (2019). Therefore, movies that received a limited release in 2018 and foreign movies previously released in other countries will not be considered.
