We at SoundMojo believe in shining a light on as many music cities as we can. Our love for music history goes far beyond anything you can imagine. We currently produce a music history series, where we take a deep dive into multiple music cities, countries and try exploring why they’re so popular, who turned them into what they are and assess the impact they have on current musicians and genres. Today’s episode features the city of Nashville and, although it is not the ‘official’ birthplace of country music, it is the city that helped transform it into an industry. We dive deep into the musical roots, and the major names that have made an impact on the city throughout the years.
