The fact that whenever these two teams meet, tickets are only sold to those whom have attended a certain number of games, shows the greatness of this rivalry, not to mention the constant rioting between them. The rivalry seems so great, that even when they're not in the same league they get involved. i.e. When West Ham were relegated, Millwall flew
I agree with this except contrary to popular belief it is not the largest rivalry in Italy.

This is the biggest London derby. With the teams stadiums only a mere 4 miles from eachother north London is boiling once these two teams clash together!

Their matches the most exciting ones i've ever seen. Last time i watched one, F.Melo (from Galatasaray) laughed and pointed his finger out to E. Bel?zlo%u011Flu (from Fenerbah?e) when he got a red card.
