Based on the more successful Spanish reality show Star Academy, this version was massively overhyped, saying that it would dethrone American Idol. Needless to say, it was beyond wrong, as the rating were overwhelmingly low and was cancelled after just two episodes. In other words, the series wasn't even completed.

This show is like if Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Pirates of the Caribbean had a miscarriage. The show, had overwhelmingly low ratings, and out of the 13 episodes made, only 8 were broadcast. The other 5 were dumped on CBS's website.
