The Souls Series tends to do this with certain enemy attacks that can clip through walls. And then there's the Monster Hunter series. How am I supposed to cut off the tail of the monster I knocked down IF IT'S INSIDE THE WALL?!!!

Boss rushes are tricky to get right. But they're tame compared to what Bravely Default does. Simply put, halfway through, it makes you play THE ENTIRE FIRST HALF AGAIN IN IT'S ENTIRETY! THAT is just absurd!
