Unless this was the writers' way of foreshadowing how Spike and Buffy would treat each other, this was a really stupid pairing because Spike was shown to be a very passionate lover with his beloved Drusilla.

Dave was the reason (bullying, assaulting kiss, threats) Kurt Hummel had to transfer to Dalton Academy, where he met and fell in love with Blaine, who returned the feelings after a short angsty period. What possible reason could Blaine have for seeing Dave with anything more than "not gonna happen in this lifetime or any other"???
