No could play this better than Steve Carrell. He may be unorthodox, but he really means well and is very soft hearted. He may not be a funny guy but he really tries much to the joy of audiences. Deep down he's a typical man child with a dash of adult jokes in his system to keep him from truly being a man child and more of a young adult in a grown m

One of the least likeable characters on this list, this typical Christian has a soft spot for Dwight while snarking at pretty much everyone else. However she does show some kindness to her co workers as her character develops and her closeness towards co accountants Oscar and Kevin are prook of this even if she is rude to hem at times. Overall she

The calm everyman of the office, Jim shows the character audiences can really latch on and relate to through his serene deadpan personality just like his love interest Pam. They both have a similar of sense humour in practical jokes.

Her adrokable chemistry with co worker Jim is what makes her a great character. Before Erin joined the cast, Pam was the typical girl next door receptionist which of course had Michael stereotyping her as a schlub in which she was anything but. For example she participated in Michael's Scotts fire walk showing everyone that she is not boring and sh

One of a couple foils to Jim and Pam, this Cornell graduate went through a development as the series went on. Like Erin his love interest, Andy is very likable which is probably why this character stayed at Scranton and became a full fledged breakout character. Like the actor who plays him Ed Helms, Andy is a talented singer and dancer which fits t

This character may not be consistent, but this observational situation viewing character gives a sense of realism to the show. Wether he's been commented bout his stinky feet, talks about wanting to eat food or hiding stuff from his internet this fat doofus really tries to attract the most praise and attention. His relationship with co accountants

One of a few adorkable character in this series, this receptionist has a fun adaptable personality who is not afraid to be called by her middle name. Like Kelly, she's a teenager in a grown woman's body but a calm, friendly and sympathetic one. She views the office like her family as she didnt live with them as a child. She is truly a character who

Despite taking abuse from Michael about his race, this smart accountant takes these insults with pride and wit. Always a humorous deadpan character this Hispanic is also gay much to the surprise of his boss. Much to his advantage this gives Oscar a vacation from the office and a ability to take Michael's insults with even more logic

As a minority, Kelly acts like anything but especially though her pop cultural references to american culture. This diva may seem friendly but she can also be rude, selfish and downright hypocritical. However, she manages to have some soft spot for temp Ryan and their toxic relationship is fun to watch showing off her diva like personality.
