This is simply the greatest ending to any animated series. The music played during the battle between Azula and Zuko shows just how amazing it is. Plus the battle between Ozai and Aang is arguably one of the greatest battles in animation history. Finally, the show left us more satisfied than any other show ending could have yet still had us hanging

This is the episode that shows you that Zuko isn't the bad guy, and that he can still choose to do the right thing.
This episode is all you need to see to realize that Avatar is the greatest animated series ever. When a filler episode is as amazing as that you know you're amazing. This is the episode the fully revealed the show's Method of Operation. We got to see the full backstories of Zuko and Aang told through flashbacks and all of the lingering questions about them were answered.
