This is pretty obvious. Nobody wants to play with bad controlers. Need I say Atari 5200, the original XBox fat controler, Atari Jaguar, etc.

Poor marketing can be harmful to a video game company's health. Remember how the "Do the Math" campaign helped kill the Atari Jaguar. Oh yeah, don't forget Sony's adds for the Playstation 3

Not only do faulty counsels cause video game fails (XBox 360 Red Ring of Death and Disk Destruction) so does bad design concepts (Virtual Boy, N-Gage, etc)
