In the movies, the Alien is actually quite vulnerable, but in this game, you can shoot him, bomb him and incinerate him all you want, he just doesn't die.

You go through the game, ripping apart necromorph limbs left and right. This guy shows up, you try to do the same - ITS LIMBS GROW BACK. It then chases you and is the scariest thing ever.

One of the final bosses, it's not too difficult to drain this guy's HP to 0... except that he then gets up with full health. Over. And over again. Eventually you have to run away from it, and should it catch you, it's Game Over. You then fight it again, with the same result. You can stall it, but never defeat it.
