Snowpeak ruins is unique in that it's more a mansion than a dungeon. It also has fortifications and makes great use of bomb-powered, stone ball cannons. Also, the chapel room with the Chilfos is one of the most intense rooms in any dungeon in the entire series.

You can only gain entry into the castle after Midna shows how powerful she is, as she breaks the Twilight seal surrounding it. Once you enter the courtyard, it becomes rainy and dreary and you face a variety of Moblins in a sort of "ring" battle setting, and a final showdown with King Bulbin, who reveals his true character. One of the best designed dungeons in the entire series, and it makes great use of the Beetle. Also, the Buddhist inspiration with the statue in the middle of the dungeon's main room. The boss battle is unique in that you must utilize it's own sword to chop it to bits, rather than your own sword
