A mystery series about a girl who switches places with her twin sister (whom she has been separated from for years) at her high school to uncover her attempted suicide while she is in coma as she had thought her sister had the perfect life.
Written and drawn by Chiho Saito who also wrote Revolutionary Girl Utena. Seriously, why isn't this an anime?

Studio Gonzo did have plans to adapt this manga into an anime but it was canceled after the studio was delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange

Otherwise known an Zettai Kareshi, this series is a sort of gender swap of Chobits but with a more refined look at the possibility of human and A.I. relationships
It did become a live-action film at one point starring Anna Tsuchiya who once sung as Nana Osaki from Nana, but has never become animated unfortunately
The story focuses on two high school students falling in love with each other. However this has happened before in past life. And in their past lives they were the opposite gender and to make things more confusing their minds go back into the past. It also focuses on them solving their deaths as they were murdered.

This manga breaks a lot of barriers that most romance anime and manga do not because of the extreme yet realistic themes that get brought up throughout this story
