The fights when developed well, were utterly amazing, especially episodes 23, and 36 to the finale. -The characters all went under unique character developments, and the villains proved they can be goofy and yet fun. Espeially Joker/Rascal and Wolfrun/Ulric
It also caused the English-speaking Pretty Cure fandom to suddenly become huge during this series. Part of it could be due to a well-liked blogger posting individual episode reviews
was originally supposed to go on a Darker and Edgier route, but after the tsunami incident happened the writers changed the story to something more upbeat to calm grievances.
The show later introduces a Story Arc focused on Labyrinth agent Eas, who attempts to infiltrate Love's group and steal her Transformation Trinket, only for the story to deconstruct Becoming the Maskin the most painful way possible, culminating in the birth of the fourth Pretty Cure, Cure Passion.
