In retaliation, Elon musk tweeted saying "Sorry pedo guy, but you really did ask for it." In court later on, Elon defended himself saying it was a common phrase told in South Africa, and he even won the case. Even if it's true or not, we can say those were a poor choice of words

One month later, as a response to Trudeau's attempts to quash a protest, Elon posted a meme of Adolf Hitler with the caption "Stop comparing me to Justin Trudeau. I had a budget." Elon did delete the tweet, but we can all agree this response was in very poor taste.
