A great retelling of a classic story that did a fantastic job in character devolepment and action scene choreography. I have not yet seen 7 samurai but I understand that the two story's are alligned and I like to think this movie brings some justice to the original story.

Classic story gone wrong, I kinda like the imagery in this movie with dragons and monsters but its story fell flat and the characters (besides Hiroyuki Sanada) were uninteresting. I will say the fight scenes are great ang Keenu is a good action star but the rest of it seems forced and unbelievable. The fact they all kill themselves in the end is no

The conclusion to the samurai series has great acting and wonderful choreography. Absolutley fantastic retelling of Miyimoto Mushashi's life and fued with Kojiro Sasaski, these movies are a must see for samurai movie lovers.

While animaterd, Afro Samurai is a true samurai tale that deals with honor and duty toward ones family. Afro samurai is haunted by his past and cant escape his station in life just as many samurai felt toward the end of their careers. The animation is great the voice acting is spot on has a great score and should be taken seriously as a samurai mov
