In 2015, due to unknown reasons, WB replaced Mindy Cohn with Kate Micucci. Unfortunately, Micucci's voice performance as Velma is considered lack-lusted by many fans, because her voice made the character more snotty and very denial of the real-life supernatural events she and her friends witnessed.

While most of the chase songs are real-life songs, some of the songs such as "Here I Come Vegas", "It's A Rad Rad World", or "I'll Search Forever" are all made-up songs made by the show's staff. Also in one episode, CIV's "All Twisted" was used and the staff cut-out the swearing parts of the lyrics to make it child friendly.
