The sequel to the first "Trolls" film will be a perfect wedding plot for Poppy and Branch. Since Poppy is Queen after the end of the first film and Branch confesses his love towards her, they will finally get married during "Trolls 2", it'll be wonderful for the fans to see that.

Since her villain song, "Bringing Back Happy", didn't make it into the first film. But it'll wonderfully wicked to give Chef the Bergen a much better Disney Villain-like song in Trolls 2.
Since Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake are returning to reprise their roles as Poppy and Branch. Timberlake might write few new enjoyable songs in the sequel. He'll be just like Pharrell Willaims who wrote original songs from the "Despicable Me" films.

There are other Troll toys that were slightly popular during the 1990's, like the Original Battle Trolls from Hasbro, the Stone Protectors franchise, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Trolls. The popular Mighty Max line also had a series named Hairy Heads, also known as Dread Heads.

Since the original creator of the Good Luck Trolls, Thomas Dam passed away on January 11, 1986, it'll be an amazing silent cameo of Dam: it'll be similar to Alfred Hitchcock's amazing silent cameos from his films and TV shows.

Why Bridget fell in love with Gristle Jr. in the first place? Was it during her early childhood when she became a scullery maid and took a liking to Gristle Jr.? Or something similar to Helga Pataki's origin ("Hey Arnold")?

The sequel should include brand new Trolls as supporting characters/allies to the main characters. As for the creatures, maybe these creatures could be inspired by creatures from Scandinavian folklore, like Elves, Pixies, or Mermaids.

Fans of "Trolls" want to know why the Trolls have magical powers including magical, prehensile hairs? That is a good question. Maybe a good origin story will be about the Trolls were originated from plants or flowers and evolved into magical woodland creatures (with a hint of drop from a rainbow on top of their hairs).

For a really interesting plot for "Trolls 2", maybe an environmental story? With a powerful message of protecting the forests and the creatures who live in the forests? Or maybe an adventure story about traveling to a unknown or forbidden land while finding a magical item (use it or destroy it from greedy antagonists) before certain villains use it
