A sorted story now, but Digital Homicide went defunct just because they couldn't take criticism. They filed lawsuits and threatened multiple steam accounts who spoke badly about their games. As such, Valve delisted ALL OF THEIR GAMES from Steam.

They flagged videos that talked smack about them or pointed out their many missteps. This included Jim Sterling, who ended up sparking a hashtag out of all this.

EA actually manipulated reviews, taking them down or hiding them. Microtransactions are one thing, but I believe THIS (and the game's bad Microtransactions) are where EA crossed the line like never before. Going from incompetent to straight-up malicious.
