And The Indians franchise alone has so much heartbreak for their fans. Losing two World Series titles in the 90s, leading going into the ninth and final inning of the 97 WS against the Marlins. And then 2007 losing to Boston in the ALCS.

The Redskins alone make this a tortured city as the franchise continues to be dogged by those who hate the name and logo.

I hate to disagree with you, but Los Angeles has it pretty easy for sports franchises. The Lakers have won a lot of titles since relocating to the city. Also, the Trojans and Bruins in college have had a lot of success over the years in different sports.
