Final Fantasy XIII has you running in a straight line for hours while following a story that is confusing and ridiculous even by final fantasy's standards. To top it off only two of the protaginists Sazh and Fang have any redeeming qualities while the other four are some of the worst characters in the entire franchise.

This game was made when Square falsely assumed Americans didn't play RPGs because they were morons. First, FF4 was stripped of all signs of difficulty when it was released as FF2 here in the US. Next, they just recycled FF1's "save the crystals" plot and made the map completely linear. Furthermore, the final boss can easily beat by spamming Cure, a

This black sheep of the franchise disregards the predecessor's simple level up system. Despite its surprisingly good story, it adds an unfairly balanced leveling system which requires hitting party members for stamina level ups, unfairly designed dungeons with fake doors and ridcoulously hard enemies.
