Cause: Cousin Oliver Syndrome. First they added a useless baby. Then they added Scrappy Doo's more annoying cousin. Then they literally added a Mary Sue. I'm sure next they'll add a talking cow.

Cause: Shock Humor. Once known for being hilariously crossing the line between dark and funny twice, the show now tries to be shocking for the sake of being shocking.

Cause: Loss Of Creator. The Boondocks lost all momentum when creator Aaron McGruder left the show, creating a crappy sendoff with flanderization, characters put on a bus and bad writing.

Cause: Retooling. The lighthearted campy show suddenly gained the darkness of a 90s comic book, a worthless villian called Lord Dregg replacing the iconic Shredder and Krang, and removed many characters.
