Probably shouldnt be on the list since A. its a real plant and b. the harry potter plant is based on a myth dating back to at least 37 AD.

Just like Mandrake this is a real plant called Datura Stramonium with the nick names of Jimson weed, Devil's snare, and Hell's Bells. Part of the poisonious nightshade family and has a myth attached to it. It seems a lot of harry potter items where taken from other myths so i would not give harry potter franchise credit on something they took from
