Born Thomas Marvolo Riddle, a decedent of Salazar Slytherin and the halfblooded wizard antagonist is the most feared wizard in the world. He goes by Voldemort, because he is ashamed of his "filthy muggle father's name". He was defeated when his killing curse failed on a baby.

Dolores Jane Umbridge, The Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor in Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts, Umbridge refused to teach the practice of magic, and focused solely on the theory. She was placed there by the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge. She was later named Hogwarts High Inquisitor, and later replaced Dumbledore as Head Mistress. Umbrid

A loyal follower to the Dark Lord, a Ministry worker, and the previous master of Dobby the House Elf, Lucius is one of the first Death Eaters we meet in the series. We also fell a bit of pity for his son Draco after seeing how he is treated by his father.
