Hate to admit it, but yeah. He's actually worse than when he was in Brawl. It's pretty obvious that Sakurai thinks that his gaming legacy doesn't matter.

Even some of his kreators (such as John Vogel) hated the character...so much so that he hasn't been seen since MK: Armageddon and was conveniently "killed off" in the MK:X comic.
