Trust us when we say, you don't want to mess with these folks. Welcome to WatchMojo and today we will be counting down our picks for the Top 10 Stupidly Overpowered Live-Action Disney Characters.
For this list, we will be looking at characters from specifically live-action Disney films and ranking them based on their immense levels of power, be it physical or based in magical ability. We're excluding characters from the MCU and “Star Wars” franchise, as they're worthy of their own lists.
#10: William “Will” Theodore Stronghold
“Sky High” (2005)
Living with the burden of following in his father's mighty superhero footsteps, poor Will Stronghold unfortunately didn't even come close, having no powers to call his own. This all changed one day in an intense situation, where his super strength finally manifested itself, taking everyone, including himself, by surprise. Will's strength levels seem to know no true bounds, being able to lift anything high over his head, such as a cafeteria table or an entire school. Combine this with his discovery of being able to fly and he starts to give a certain man of steel a run for his money.
#9: Uncle Martin
“My Favorite Martian” (1999)
Uncle 'Martin'… Martin… because he's a 'Martian'… get it? Being an extraterrestrial comes with its perks, namely an abundance of quite literally out of this world technology. Uncle Martin's laundry list of zany doo-dads and gadgets range from his own personal UFO to his sentient space suit named 'Zoot.' It doesn't stop there, Martin also possesses telekinesis and a special kind of gum that can transform anyone into an alien by chewing on it. Just be careful not to swallow it or the effects might be permanent. Add on a quick-witted intellect and the skill to perfectly function on mere seconds of sleep and Martin is an alien you hope comes in peace.

“Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise (2003-)
Cap'n Jack Sparrow has had his share of supernatural forces to contend with over the course of the series, what with Hector Barbossa and his legion of undead in the first film alone (xref). However, we feel the stakes were raised in the second film when Davy Jones rose up to terrorize the high seas. Being impervious to physical harm thanks to his weak spot being safely contained in a chest, Mr. Jones has little to fear when squaring off with other pirates. Oh, did we mention his expert abilities as a swordsman, as well as being able to call upon the dreadful monstrosity known as the Kraken? Yeah, you don't want to be tangled up with this octopus.
#7: Mary Poppins
“Mary Poppins” (1964)
Rest assured that your kids will be left in very capable hands if Mary Poppins is hired as their nanny. Poppins is no ordinary nanny, sporting a few otherworldly tricks up her sleeve, something which the children discover very quickly. Her prowess in the magical arts seem to be limitless, as she can interact and conjure almost anything that her mind can imagine. She can fly, bring her reflections in mirrors to life and even teleport you into the world of a sidewalk chalk painting. Whether she leaves you stupefied by her supernatural capabilities or simply by her irresistible charm, Mary Poppins is one witch who is practically perfect in every way.
#6: The Sanderson Sisters
“Hocus Pocus” (1993)
Speaking of 'witch,' if Mary Poppins is that supercalifragilistic on her own, just imagine a trio of them… only significantly less friendly. Resurrected on Halloween, 300 years after a curse was placed on them, the Sanderson sisters immediately pursue their ghastly goal of sucking the souls out of all the children in town (yes, this is the premise for a Disney film). These kids have their work cut out for them, as the witches have a plethora of dark spells, trademark broomsticks and even an acute sense of smell at their disposal. With so many strengths and so few weaknesses, the Sanderson sisters push the limits of how nasty a witch can be.
#5: Underdog
“Underdog” (2007)
Just being a lovable canine is awesome enough. So, add on a bevy of incredible superpowers and this furry fellow immediately becomes top dog on the block… and the entire planet for that matter. You name it, Underdog has it. Super strength? Check. Ability of flight? Yup. X-ray vision and super breath? Double yup. Underdog can soar into action, 'ruff' up the bad guys in style, and save the world just in time for dinner. All this combined and it's easy to see why Underdog is without a doubt a very, very good boy. Oh, and he has sweet rhyming skills, so extra points there.
#4: Queen Narissa
“Enchanted” (2007)
Disney has had no shortage of evil sorceresses over the years, but Narissa climbs high atop the tower as one of the most downright sinister around. Motivated by fuming jealousy and hatred towards Giselle, Narissa could be on this list for her capacity to do evil alone, but unfortunately, she has the necessary talents to carry out her plans as well. Armed with the classic poison apples to her own sinister set of tricks, such as spectacular shapeshifting abilities, and one will be hard-pressed to stand toe-to-toe with this diabolical queen of the dark arts.
#3: The Enchantress aka Agathe
“Beauty and the Beast” (2017)
Hmm, maybe we spoke too soon about how cruel a sorceress can be. The Enchantress from 2017's “Beauty and the Beast” has the power in her capacity to place a horrendous curse on anyone, just for the simple mistake of being rude to her for even a fraction of a second. The Prince deciding not to show this woman some compassion on a stormy night caused her to retaliate with ten times as much wickedness, punishing everyone in the Prince's castle by transforming them into various pieces of furniture and one beastly… well, beast. That act alone makes the Enchantress bad news and leaves us scared of what else she would be capable of. But hey, at least she reverses the curse in the end.
#2: Maleficent
“Maleficent” (2014)
Okay… we have now officially reached the worst of the worst for what an evil sorceress can be. Seriously, how much malice this lady holds in her is right there in her name! With her already spine-chilling stare and intimidating presence, Maleficent is so fluent in the form of dark magic that it might as well be a second language to her. With the flick of her wrist, she can summon large wings that enable her to fly, manipulate the environments and creatures that surround her, and even place curses on otherwise inanimate objects. Did we mention those spooky green flames she can wrap herself within? Even if Maleficent ultimately finds redemption in this version of “Sleeping Beauty,” she still has power to spare.

Appropriately titled 'The King of Beasts,' not to mention serving as a loose metaphor for Jesus, Aslan looks over Narnia with his powers of life and creation, ensuring its protection from equally powerful villainy, such as the White Witch (xref). He can teleport, possesses incredible physical strength, the power of healing, is extremely nimble and cherry on the cake: is immortal. Seriously, need we go on?
