Formed in 1999, Mastodon is a progressive metal band out of Atlanta, Georgia. With relentless touring and their unique brand of multi-layered metal, the band has consistently grown its fanbase throughout the world. Mastodon was chosen to write the musical score for the 2010 film Jonah Hex, which was a natural progression for the band as their previous albums had been concept records.
