Having the best tech is great. But the best tech is usually super expensive. But fear not, some pro-level tech can be had for very little money. Take headphones for example.

Welcome to GetMojo, where we do the research, so you don’t have to! In this video, we’re offering our picks for the 5 best pro headphones on the market that are surprisingly affordable!

Having the best tech is great. But the best tech is usually super expensive. But fear not, some pro-level tech can be had for very little money. Take headphones for example. There are a bunch of models out there that offer astonishing value for money - and we just so happened to have scoured the internet and found 5 solid pairs that we think are worth considering!

Soundcore Anker Life Q30

Soundcore has been smashing it out of the park for a while now when it comes to value. And its active noise canceling headphones are stellar. Although the Life Q20s are more affordable than these - and are still a rock-solid pair - the Q30s arguably offer the best all-round value and quality. These bassy headphones have super effective active noise cancellation and amazing battery life of up to 60 hours when in standard music mode. Plus, they look far more expensive than they are.

Sony WH-CH520

If your mind is in a fog when it comes to choosing a headphone brand, you can’t really go wrong with Sony. The WH-CH520s are a prime example of top quality audio on a shoestring budget, with great sound, 50 hour battery life, in-app sound customization, multipoint Bluetooth pairing and - oh yeah - that highbrow Sony badge slapped on the side. While this headphone’s noise canceling isn’t the best, for audiophiles its well-balanced audio will likely more than make up for it.

Beyerdynamic DT 240 Pro

Not heard of this brand before? Well, once you get a taste for their affordable headphones, you’ll wonder why you didn’t hear of them sooner. This DT 240 Pro set is ideal for those who want a budget set of studio headphones, because they’re solidly built and produce crisp, balanced, unsullied audio - so you can hear your instruments and vocals exactly as they should be heard. They’re wired, sure, but their value more than outweighs that.

Audio-Technica ATH-M40x

Speaking of studio use, this Audio-Technica pair is another solid set of cans for mixing and creating music. But, with a little more oomph to their sound profile with regards to bass and midrange, we’d say they make a great regular listening set, too. They’re wired, just like the Beyerdynamic headphones, but they also offer excellent build quality. And Audio-Technica is a well-respected, ironclad brand, especially for techies.

Sennheiser Professional HD 25

You can spend a lot of money on Sennheiser gear - but the brand also offers some outrageously good value for money tech. This HD 25 set is a little pricier than some of our other budget picks, but if you want a pair of headphones that can literally do anything - from Djing to listening to podcasts on the train - then look no further. They’re solidly built and lightweight, offer excellent audio, and you can easily buy replacement parts for them to make them last you longer. Sennheiser doesn’t mess about, even on a budget.

So, which headphones are you going to go for? Well, for casual music and podcast lovers, we’d go for the Soundcore and Sony sets - especially considering they’re wireless. But for those seeking something to use in the studio, the Beyerdynamic, Audio-Technica or Sennheiser headphones are great options.
