Nobody breaks the "SNL" cast like Jimmy Fallon. Welcome to MsMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most memorable times Jimmy Fallon got his co-stars to break. Our countdown includes "The Leather Man," "Corksoakers," "Barry Gibb Talk Show," and more!

#10: “Barry Gibb Talk Show”

As some sort of tradition, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake usually star together in this recurring sketch. This version includes several trademarks such as a stellar introduction and falsettos. It’s also a place for Timberlake to laugh, forcing him to keep up with Fallon’s chaotic acting. This time the singer has to deal with his co-star looking directly into his eyes and singing him a personal song. In that kind of position, any of us would break after staring down the barrel of a comic professional. Timberlake does recover in time for a proper musical ending. It’s also enjoyable to see Fallon’s playfulness make both his scene partner and the audience laugh together.

#9: “Mick Is Pointing, Pointing, Pointing at Himself”

In this scene set in Mick Jagger’s dressing room, Jimmy Fallon plays the singer’s reflection. Jagger has to act directly to Fallon as the latter impersonates his voice. After a while, it’s pretty difficult to keep a straight face watching these two play opposite each other. The “Rolling Stones” frontman even breaks as his co-star leans into the British accent. Stopping to smile, the artist clearly enjoys himself in this self-aware sketch. The comedian pushes through it all to create an iconic crossover with a music legend. Impersonating the vocalist’s mannerisms and dance moves, the “SNL” actor performs a fun impression that even the target seems to enjoy.

#8: “Z105: The Morning Madhouse”

For this radio sketch, Jimmy Fallon’s DJ welcomes a rival to the show. Ben Affleck manages to keep up with all of the different voices in a multi-faceted performance. He also breaks under the pressure of Fallon’s lead role, giving the skit some added hilarity. The rivalry between the two characters builds to moments where the two can’t help but lose it. Fallon’s presenter questions Affleck’s co-host at one point, getting the latter to crumble next to him. It’s such a zany atmosphere that the Oscar winner has to chuckle. Even when the sketch quiets down, Fallon’s vocal work at the end sends the other man into a fit of laughter.

#7: “Corksoakers”

Not shy about innuendos, this sketch digs deep with its references about wine corks. It also features one of the more outrageous scripts Jimmy Fallon ever delivered. Surprisingly enough, he’s not the one doing all of the laughing in this skit. Janet Jackson ends up laughing at the absurdity of everything. This includes monologues from Fallon and Horatio Sanz about the vineyard’s techniques, setting off an extraordinary amount of double entendres. It’s almost too much for anyone to take without losing it at some point. While trying to respond to it all, Jackson clearly has trouble holding it together in some hilarious breaking points.

#6: “The Leather Man”

Top 10 Times Jimmy Fallon Broke Character on SNL

Full of crazy wardrobe choices and loud squeaks, this skit starts wild from the jump. It then becomes even more entertaining when Jimmy Fallon has to interact with Horatio Sanz. Based on the latter’s reactions, Fallon can barely contain himself. Who can blame him after hearing Sanz’s screams? The two then enter a match where they’re practically trying to make each other laugh. Neither man escapes unscathed, but there are a few moments where the main star really stokes the flame. No matter what you think of the leather store, this is yet another goofy sketch where the lead performer keeps the laughter coming.

#5: “Jeffrey’s with Sean Hayes”

Holding back laughter throughout this scene, Jimmy Fallon comes up against Horatio Sanz in this recurring skit. Sanz’s delivery of a comeback cracks up his “SNL” co-star and even Sean Hayes. This would have been the best moment of any other sketch if Will Ferrell wasn’t also going to show up. Arriving on a scooter, Ferrell is a hurricane of comedic gold ready to break everyone. He also starts to stumble as he finds Fallon and Hayes trying to hold it together. The laughs bounce around like a chain reaction until nobody is safe. If you trace back the giggling to the source, you’ll find the future “Tonight Show” host as one of the prime suspects.

#4: “The Barry Gibb Talk Show: 2024 Election”

Top 10 Times SNL Hosts Broke Character

After all these years, Jimmy Fallon can still make Justin Timberlake laugh as Barry Gibb. He also gets other performers like Dakota Johnson to chuckle, leading to another hilarious take on this skit. Fallon and Timberlake try to harmonize with increasingly bizarre and funny lyrics. This all leads to the comedian’s character having to talk to Johnson’s panelist. Naturally, things don’t go as planned in the best possible way. The weight of the comedy hits the guest host like a comedic freight train. She works through the break, keeping the sketch on track despite all of the insanity around her. Surprisingly enough, Fallon himself restrains himself during this scene.

#3: “The Love-ahs with Barbara and Dave”

Also in:

Top 10 Times Guests Called Out Jimmy Fallon

After getting into a hot tub with a strange couple, Dave questions his life choices. Jimmy Fallon has a tough time staying in character and as a result, breaks his co-stars. Will Ferrell keeps trying to question his scene partner, later breaking down as Fallon holds on for dear life. This script is so crazy and hilarious on its own that this slip-up only makes it better. While Ferrell falls out of step, Rachel Dratch has to try to collect herself after all of the chaos. The sketch eventually hits a point of no return where the cast starts to crack up together. Even with this laugh-ready performer, the skit was almost bound to go sideways.

#2: “More Cowbell”

Also in:

Top 10 Times Will Ferrell Broke People on SNL

In a sketch this iconic, Jimmy Fallon isn’t necessarily the center of attention. You might not even pay attention to him until his drummer confronts Will Ferrell’s cowbell player. It’s clear that Fallon is ready to burst at this point, having to endure some amazing comedy before him. We would be too if we had to watch Ferrell dance around in a tight shirt. Causing his co-star to break, the comedian chuckles as his “SNL” partner smiles through his lines. They also have to endure the genius of Christopher Walken. Making this legendary skit better, these professionals find a way to stop laughing and finish the scene.

#1: “Debbie Downer: Disney World”

This “Debbie Downer” skit is one of the most famous and enjoyable disasters in “SNL” history. Jimmy Fallon sits at the table with his co-stars, only to start a chain of laughter that carries through to the end. There’s even a brief glimpse of Lindsay Lohan covering her face near the beginning. All things considered, we can’t believe that the cast carries on as long as they do. The giggles go around the table until Rachel Dratch loses it. Given Fallon’s place next to the actress, his looks to her don’t make it any easier to stop breaking. The performers laugh throughout a beautiful and hilarious misfire, unintentionally creating a comic masterpiece.
