For this list, we’ll be examining all the obscure and not so obscure links between all of the films released thus far, and how they affect the Cloverfield universe as a whole.
#5: The Red Flash

The Cloverfield Paradox came out as a surprise release on Netflix, and with it came a lot of insight into the happenings that occurred in the previous films. In “10 Cloverfield Lane”, Emmett explains he saw a bright red flash before everything went to hell. At first, we think it's just the beginning of the alien invasion, but after witnessing the effect of the particle accelerator in “The Cloverfield Paradox” and its subsequent color change to bright red when it fails, we can assume that that is what Emmett sees in the sky. The accelerator did, after all, cause chaos in its own dimension, creating the monster we see in the first film, only much larger.
#4: The Stambler Brothers

Howard Stambler is John Goodman's character in “10 Cloverfield Lane”, and while we don't know for sure if he's telling the truth about the invasion at the start of the film, it’s very obvious that he is quite paranoid and has a thing for conspiracy theories. In “The Cloverfield Paradox”, we are introduced to another Stambler; Mark, who expresses concerns about the consequences of using the particle accelerator. Based on the shared last names, and their penchant for conspiracy theories, it's possible they’re cousins or brothers from parallel universes. Either way, we shouldn't immediately disregard any Stambler ramblings in the immediate future, because they usually seem to know what’s up.
#3: Satellite Crash
Remember that blink-and-you’ll-miss-it speck that falls from the sky and into the ocean right at the end of the first Cloverfield? Some originally speculated that that thing was, in fact, the monster itself. But after delving into the extensive Cloverfield ARG, it’s revealed that it's actually a satellite, and not just any old satellite, either. It's the Cloverfield Station that falls during the third movie. There's no year time-stamp in the shot from the 2008 movie, so one could entertain the thought that the characters from that shot are from a future timeline; an alternate dimension that is glimpsed in The Cloverfield Paradox… but more on alternate dimensions later.
#2: Tagruato
At first, this name may mean nothing to you, but astute observers will recognize it. Tagruato or its subsidiaries are featured in all the movies, as well as the series’ ARG, and can pretty much be blamed as the cause for everything going wrong in the universes. Their ocean oil rig is known to be the disturbance that caused the original monster to wake up. Howard Stambler worked on satellites for Bold Futura, a subsidiary of the company, and the Tagruato logo can be seen on the Cloverfield Station. Oh, and you know the drink Slusho that’s in every film? Also a subsidiary of Tagruato.

We’ve mentioned it before, but alternate dimensions are at play here. Turns out that smashing particles together at unfathomable speeds has negative repercussions. The tragedy aboard the Cloverfield Station caused mayhem across multiple dimensions. It’s the reason the monster woke up in the original movie, and aliens invaded in the second movie. It’s also the reason the original monster returns in “The Cloverfield Paradox”, although it’s grown tremendously in size. Each movie takes place in an alternate dimension, and we really wouldn’t want to live in any of them.
