Though, really, the bosses are named for the contraptions he fights you in, so I think that is, at best, a gray area.

You do fight him twice in Metroid 64 (first in the space station, second on Zebes), so yes, it qualifies.

They're technically different parts of Jenova's body though. A better candidate from VII would be Reno and Rude.
