Hilarious, weird and wonderful. John is as he says, a film enthusiast, and that certainly comes across. Just an awesome guy... and I'm not joking, but I'm pretty sure he's Batman, just saying. Very underrated in my opinion, definitely belongs on this list!
In terms of film knowledge and professionalism, there is no other film critic out there on Youtube on the high ranked level of Kermode. The guy did legit documentaries on films in the past as well as appeared in some. Plus nothing beats that british charm when his rants start up on a film (I encourage you to watch his Transformers videos).
Oliver's professional mini-documentary style of film review provides fascinating incite into a film's production and history. It's what makes his reviews unique and a cut above.
