2011 Ford Explorer SUV: Unveiled

First produced in 1990 by Ford, the Explorer is credited as one of the first SUVs to bring that type of auto into the mainstream. Considered a pioneer in the segment from the beginning, it's only natural that redesigns of the Explorer push the envelope for all SUVs. The fifth generation vehicle, due out as a 2011 model, has been redesigned for safety, comfort, and – most importantly – fuel efficiency.
