Comscore today released its latest video industry stats: YouTube continues to dominate with 1 out of 3 streams. YouTube is one of our many notable important players… and while they sure do drive a lot of streams, it is important for video producers to blanket the web and have coverage (categories of content, such as auto, health, etc.).
Anyway, just last week, I mentioned that we broke the Top 50 Directors rank on YouTube.
One week later, we break through the Top 25 Directors list, sitting at number 24.

Of course, not sure the best term is sitting… never been one to sit on anything…
When we ranked the Top 10 Web M&A Deals of All Time, we omitted Google/YouTube, mainly because it had only been a few months since the deal was announced. Today, a year after that deal, while challenges and questions remain, it is hard to question the value of the stock-based deal: Google is now #1 in search and video. That is a great place to be as video takes over for search in terms of the next big thing online.
