Web video advertising estimates are a joke, something I’ve been saying for a while. I’m starting to think the entire industry isn’t much better… and that has a lot to do with the hype with which many companies launch products, only to see them fall by the wayside and fizzle away.
The argument here is that product placement is not being counted, sure, that’s one reason. There are many more… and the main one is that even when it comes to measured media, I am not sure the soothsayers know if they need to count companion display ads…
