What do you do when your prom date breaks up with you at the last minute? Well, if youre Anthony Molinaro, you slide into the DMs of your favorite football player and ask them to go with you, of course. After a badly timed breakup in 2019, the Chartiers Valley High School student took to Twitter and asked NFL star JuJu Smith-Schuster to be his date instead. Surprisingly, Smith-Schuster said yes. Even more impressively, he showed up to the event wearing the same velvet blue suit as Molinaro. Safe to say, that is one night the high schooler will never forget.
Jake Davidson & Nina Agdal
In 2013, while most high schoolers were nervously asking their classmates to prom, 17-year-old California student Jake Davidson shot for the stars, literally. He made a two-minute YouTube video asking Sports Illustrated supermodel Kate Upton to be his date for the big night. The clip quickly went viral and even reached Upton herself, who seemed excited by the idea. Sadly, scheduling conflicts kept this dream date from becoming a reality. However, another Sports Illustrated model, Nina Agdal, stepped up and accompanied Davidson instead. Inside Edition helped orchestrate the magical night, complete with a limo ride and a friendly hug at the end. For Davidson, this was a prom night straight out of a teenage fantasy.

19-year-old West Bloomfield High School student Anthony Nelson dreamt of going to his prom with reality TV star Evelyn Lozada as his date. In the lead-up to the big night, Nelson sent an invitation to Lozada on Twitter, hoping to make that dream a reality. He may not have expected things to go his way, but they ultimately did when the Basketball Wives star said yes. On prom night, Lozada showed up at Nelson's house, where his excited friends and family had gathered, wearing a red gown with a plunging neckline. After the event, they posed for some playful pictures together, before capping off the night with a nice dinner at a high-end restaurant.
Narbeh Babakhani & Khloé Kardashian
Reality TV star Khloé Kardashian never got to attend prom in high school, but she finally ticked that off her bucket list years later. In 2019, Narbeh Babakhani, a devoted superfan who runs an Instagram account dedicated to her, invited her to be his prom date and she accepted the request. After considering whether to make a grand entrance by limo or helicopter, Kardashian ultimately opted for a more low-key arrival. She and Babakhani showed up in coordinated outfits: she wore a sleek black dress with cutouts, while he went with a classic black tux. In the end, Kardashian finally got her prom experience and Babakhani spent the night with his favorite celebrity.

Shooting your shot at celebrities through YouTube seems to have been all the rage back in 2013. Nicole Muxo, a senior at Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School, joined the trend by posting a video asking Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade to be her prom date. She even followed it up with a tweet, including the address of the event, just in case. Initially, the NBA star called Muxo to tell her he wouldnt be able to make it, only to take her completely by surprise when he actually showed up. Wade spent the night busting moves on the dance floor and taking pictures with Muxo and her classmates. Moral of the story: never be too afraid to ask.
Kia Chenelle & Tupac Shakur
Shortly before his death in 1996, legendary rapper Tupac Shakur made a fans dream come true in the most heartwarming way ever. Kia Chenelle had written to Shakurs fan club, asking him to be her prom date. After weeks without a response, she assumed nothing would come of it. However, about a month later, the rapper unexpectedly showed up at her doorstep and accepted her promposal. But he didnt just agree to be Chenelles date, he apparently also gave her $1,500 for a prom dress and arranged a limo for the night. According to Chenelle, the two shared a dance, after which he kissed her on the cheek before leaving. Now thats how you make a fans night.

17-year-old Cesar Guerrero, a senior who had been diagnosed with cancer, got a prom night straight out of High School Musical when a star of the movie graced the event by his side. In an appearance orchestrated by The Art of Elysium, a charity organization that brings joy to critically ill children, actress Vanessa Hudgens attended prom at LAs Sylmar High School as Guerreros date. It was a surprise appearance for Guerrero, who spent the entire night beaming and sharing pictures of his unforgettable night with Hudgens on Instagram. To top it all off, the two shared a dance before things wrapped up, making the night even more magical.
Albert Ochoa & Kylie Jenner
Khloé Kardashian isnt the only member of her famous family who got a late pass to prom. Her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, also missed her own prom, but later made up for it in a memorable way: by granting a fans wish and fulfilling her own at the same time. 16-year-old high school student Albert Ochoa had messaged Jenner on social media, asking her to accompany him to prom. Surprisingly, she accepted. Jenner flew from LA to Sacramento, where Ochoa lived, and walked into the venue on his arm, instantly leaving his classmates green with envy. Jenners appearance not only made Ochoa the center of attention that night, it also gained him thousands of followers online.

Back in 2007, right when her music career was just taking off, Rihanna appeared on the MTV reality special Once Upon a Prom. The show featured dozens of teenage boys who didnt have a date for their proms, from which the celebrity guest was allowed to pick one person they would go to prom with. Out of the hopeful crowd, Rihanna chose to go with a fan named Richard. The music star went all out, sporting a striking blue dress for the occasion, which just so happened to be her first prom ever. She and Richard had the full prom experience, including the customary awkward picture together.
Whit Wright & Taylor Swift
In 2008, Taylor Swift also appeared on Once Upon a Prom as the celebrity guest, tasked with choosing a prom date from among dozens of students at Hillcrest High School in Alabama. She ultimately settled on 18-year-old Whit Wright. At the time, Swift had only released her self-titled debut album, so she was far from the global superstar she is today. Nevertheless, her appearance at the prom was a pretty big deal. Swift did her best to blend in, arriving with the rest of the class, eating the same food, and hitting the dance floor with Wright at the end of the night. She even brought her best friend, Abigail Anderson, who paired up with Wrights best friend.
