Washing your hands may not seem like a big deal, but it can actually play a huge part in preventing the spread of common illnesses. It's even more important for children, as little ones tend to come in contact with many surfaces during their days and often have their hands in their mouths. October 15 is Global Handwashing Day, in the hopes of raising awareness of its importance.
