Garbage is an alternative rock band formed in the mid-90s by American musicians Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and Butch Vig. They soon found Scottish singer Shirley Manson to complete the line-up and had an unexpected success with their 1995 self-titled debut. After releasing 3 more albums, Garbage went on a temporary hiatus for several years. They returned to making music and performing together in 2012 with their fifth album, "Not Your Kind of People."
