Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, Shinedown is a good old American rock band formed in 2001. Their songs range from angry hard rock to more introspective ballads. The 2009 hit Second Chance introduced Shinedown to many, as it was used in promos for both Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and for the soap opera General Hospital.
