And here comes the karma! Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we are counting down our picks for the Top 10 Anime Bullies That Got Wrecked.

For this list, we’ll be looking at the times where bullies and other scumbags found themselves getting crushed. It doesn’t have to be a physical beatdown, just as long as they find themselves defeated and disgraced by the end.

#10: Welcome to Financial Hell

“Kakegurui” (2017-19)

While we would have enjoyed seeing a wealthy scumbag like Jun get his junk broken in, seeing the light leave his eyes as he is plummeted into astronomical debt works just as well. In spite of his attempts to use one of the house pets against Yumeko and Mary, the daring duo manage to convince the imprisoned girl to rebel against her would-be captor, ensuring his downfall along with all the green in his family’s accounts. And just for good measure, he even gets a taser to the head when he tries to lash out. Turns out there are some thing that money can’t buy.

#9: Got Beef?

“Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma” (2015-)

Even before Azami came along to radicalise Totsuki Academy, there was still plenty of prejudice being tossed around, especially towards Soma and Megumi given their lower status, even going as far as trying to sabotage one of their dishes during a class exam. Clearly that had no idea they were messing with the God of Cooking and one of his waifus, because thanks to a little ingenuity, the pair manage to leap back from the pitfall and pass with flying colours, while the saboteurs were left to crash and burn.

#8: Pacifistic Approach

“World Trigger” (2014-16)

Just because you’re not rendering their flesh asunder with your otherworldly Neighbour abilities, doesn’t mean you can’t leave your enemies left helpless before you. That’s the lesson that Kuga learns when accosted by some student thugs who want to charge him and Mikumo for eating on the school roof. As opposed to just unleashing his trigger and letting them have it, he decides to listen to his new bestie and go the route of previous shounen protagonists – showing off a fraction of his power until the bullies shit themselves in terror.

#7: Perfect Shot

“Sword Art Online II” (2014)

Considering this gaggle of hens were picking on a traumatised girl with a fear of guns due to shooting a man in self-defence years prior, they’re exceptionally lucky they didn’t get a pellet to the eye. After finally overcoming her fear thanks to Kirito, Shino was able to put Endou and her cronies in their place when she casually demonstrated her marksmanship with the air gun they had been flaunting in front of her. Here’s hoping next time they try something like that Shino goes for a headshot.

#6: Shinichi is Fresh out of Hecks

“Parasyte” (2014-15)

Turns out that blurring the line between your own DNA and that of a sentient body snatcher that’s taken occupancy in your right hand has some major benefits, including enhanced senses and the overwhelming ability to not give a crap about some punk who wants to throw down. After a misunderstanding about who slept with who, Shinichi finds himself set up by a thug with a bad attitude, bad wardrobe and serious bad aim…though that might be because he’s swinging at a guy who’s now the most nonchalant superbeing to ever exist. And to think all he lost out of this fight was a shoe.

#5: Unconventional Counterattack

“Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto” (2016)

Turns out this guy can’t even battle against bullies in a traditional manner, even when the safety of a fellow classmate is at stake. In order to defend a student from being harassed, Sakamoto arrives on the scene and unleashes what can only be described as an arsenal of highly effective yet bizarre techniques that send the attackers packing. All of which just happened to be fast food themed. Who knew blowing into someone’s ear with a straw could make for such a lethal weapon?

#4: Low Blow Justice

“Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai” (2018)

Sakuta may not be what you call a man’s man, but it’s fair to say no one wins hearts and takes out haters quite as spectacularly as he does. In order to defend Koga from a jock who just refuses to take no for an answer, best boy unleashes the old bait and switch before he kicks his freaking legs in, all before declaring triumphantly that he’s a virgin, and then running away with girl in hand at lightspeed. That’s some top tier humiliation right there!

#3: Ten Minute Beatdown

“Hinomaru Sumo” (2018-19)

Sometimes it’s not about hitting the hardest, but having the endurance to brush it off and keep on charging forward. Hinomaru took this to the extreme when he challenged then-scumbag Yuma to a battle in order to win back the Sumo Club’s digs. Despite wailing on the National Treasure for an extended period of time, Yuma can’t even get the little firecracker to budge, only to get his ass handed to him right after when the time expired. Nothing screams badass like one-shotting a jerk in spite of a crazy handicap.

#2: Don’t Diss the Doo

“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable” (2016)

You can slap him around, kill his new turtle friend, even order him to strip down, but if you every insult Josuke’s hair, then say goodbye to your face because it’s about to get rearranged courtesy of Crazy Diamond’s fists of fury. Like this ruffian, who not only got the majority of his mug smashed, but then forcibly transformed into something a lot goofier thanks to the innate healing abilities of Josuke’s Stand. Bet now he’ll think twice about murdering reptiles and lashing out against godly hairstyles.

#1: Next Level Savagery

“ViVid Strike!” (2016)

Moral of the story - never piss off middle schoolers, because you just don’t know which of them are secretly training to guest star in the next Mortal Kombat tournament. After being on the receiving end of a brutal tirade of bullying, Rinne snaps, resulting in her destroying her tormentors in a merciless rampage of revenge. We’re talking smashed skulls, broken arms and an insurmountable amount of hospital bills. Sure, they were assholes who went above and beyond to make her life a misery, but holy hell did they get messed up!
