Another Top 10 Sexy Sci-Fi Babes

Whoever said sci-fi wasn’t for beautiful ladies? Welcome to WatchMojo.com and today we’re counting down our picks for another top 10 sexy sci-fi babes.

For this list, we’re looking at the sexiest women to ever grace the sci-fi genre with their presence. We won’t be considering any women from comic book franchises so Mystique and Black Widow sadly didn’t make the cut, but both TV and film qualify. If you didn’t see a sci-fi babe you think should be on this list, make sure to check out our first list of the Top 10 Sexy Sci-fi Babes.

#10: Martha Jones
“Doctor Who” (2005-)

If you were The Doctor and spent your days in new places surrounded by new people all the time, you’d probably want a traveling companion as well. You could definitely do a whole lot worse than this beautiful medical student who is also a strong, educated woman. Her medical background definitely comes in handy too. Martha Jones is an admirable role model for viewers, as she is accomplished and from a far more middle class background than the previous companions. The Doctor may have fallen in love with another, but it was Martha who caught our eye.

#9: T’Pol
“Star Trek: Enterprise” (2001-05)

This is not your father’s Vulcan. A race renowned for their logic and reason above emotion, Commander T’Pol’s ever-growing romantic relationship wasn’t what we’d come to expect from her race, but it made for great TV. A beautiful woman whose point of view adds greatly to whatever ship she is on, T’Pol was the first Vulcan in the continuity to serve long-term on a human vessel, which clearly went well. Played by Jolene Blalock, the character added to her sexy resume with the long-running franchise’s first television appearance of nudity and we’re not going to complain.

#8: Quorra
“Tron: Legacy” (2010)

When you think of computer programs, you think of ones and zeroes in differing orders again and again. In the world of “Tron,” however, things can get a lot sexier. Played by the exquisite Olivia Wilde, Quorra is skilled in fighting and serves as our tour guide through this sequel. Adorned in skintight clothing and sporting a cool hairdo, she fits the visual template of the sci-fi flick perfectly while still managing to stand out.

#7: Sil / Eve
“Species” franchise (1995-98)

An alien/human hybrid that seems to be motivated strictly by an instinct to procreate, Sil and her even-tempered clone, Eve, spend the first two films of the “Species” series either seducing or being sought out by men. Although Sil’s alien form is shown and it is repellent, albeit pretty cool, we have to admit that anyone who is single and attracted to women would easily fall prey to her. Played by former model Natasha Henstridge in her film debut, she doesn’t do a lot of speaking, but her looks do the talking for her.

#6: Nyota Uhura
“Star Trek” franchise (2009-)

We know that Nyota Uhura made it onto our initial list of sexy sci-fi babes. We’re willing to bend the rules a little, however, since Zoe Saldana has created an Uhura of her own in the 21st century. At the center of a love triangle involving Kirk and Spock, her relationships are different, but her attractiveness isn’t. Although Saldana’s role in “Avatar” had an undeniable sexuality and Alice Eve’s role as Dr. Carol Marcus in “Star Trek Into Darkness” came close to inclusion, Uhura was our clear choice.

#5: Ellen Ripley
“Alien” franchise (1979-)

Making her debut at a time when sci-fi babes served little purpose outside of fan service, Ripley arose as one of the strongest female characters in film history. Of course that’s not to say we didn’t get a little fan service out of the “Alien” films. Years later, most viewers still can’t get the image of this beauty in her underwear out of their minds. What makes Ripley such an attractive character, though, is her bravery in the face of certain death. As the films became more militaristic in nature, we never lost sight of the lead’s obvious physical attributes.

#4: Sergeant Rita Rose Vrataski
“Edge of Tomorrow” (2014)

If we were reliving the same day over and over again, we could only hope that a powerful warrior like Rita would be there to shepherd us through it. She’s the most famous soldier in the world and knows her way around a battleground like no other. Aside from being a gorgeous woman, Rita has become a symbol for humanity’s struggle to survive. Quickly earning the respect and affection of the film’s main character, we figure most people wouldn’t complain about reliving the day they met her either.

#3: The Female
“Under the Skin” (2013)

A character wrapped in mystery and never even given a true name, The Female gets attention from men wherever she goes for good reason. Starring Scarlett Johansson as this enigmatic beauty, “Under the Skin” marks the actress’ first nude scenes. Despite the fact that the people who interact with her may not be enriched by their introduction, we can’t blame them for not being able to resist.

#2: Trinity
“The Matrix” franchise (1999-2003)

In the opening scene of this series, we’re treated to a fascinating woman who exhibits eye-popping abilities - among other things. With a sleek look and an amazing figure to complement it, we have to assume that it was pretty easy for Keanu Reeves to portray a character that falls love with her. Able to rock the black leather look unlike any other, Trinity was always able to make audiences’ hearts race. “The Matrix” films certainly would have been a lot duller without her.

Before we reveal our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
- Amy Pond
“Doctor Who” (2005-)
- Number Eight / Sharon ‘Boomer’ Valerii
“Battlestar Galactica” (2004-09)
- River Tam
“Firefly” (2002); “Serenity” (2005)
- T-X
“Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” (2003)
- Lt./Capt. Carmen Ibanez
“Starship Troopers” (1997)

#1: Lisa
“Weird Science” (1985)

Brought to life by two nerds in a bedroom with bras on their heads, Lisa serves all of their needs and makes them better men. Stunningly beautiful, Kelly Le Brock was tapped to play the personification of teen fantasy and there is no doubt she fit the bill perfectly. One of the sexiest characters ever created in any genre, Lisa’s abilities help the boys a lot, but we’re pretty certain her charisma and good looks could have gotten the job done on their own.
