Special thanks to our users Tangy68, Lozzar242, Andrew Weston and aadempson for submitting the idea on our interactive suggestion tool: WatchMojo.comsuggest

#10: Bollywood Dancing
“An Idiot Abroad” (2010-12)

This series three episode of “An Idiot Abroad” sees Warwick Davis join Karl on his travels, as the pair head to India - where they’re invited to take part in a Bollywood movie. After some rehearsal and a flamboyant change of clothes, they finally film a dance number. But it’s Karl’s ridiculous moves which makes this moment stand out. Looking like a member from the cast of Oliver, Karl just can’t crack the choreography, so he does his own thing, with Warwick egging him on. It’s a real sight to behold.

#9: Karl’s Diary
“The Ricky Gervais Show” (2010-12)

When Ricky and Steve first discovered that Karl was keeping a diary, they begged him to let them read it out, on The Ricky Gervais Show. And the read-throughs quickly became a regular feature, allowing us a tiny glimpse into Karl’s unique mind, and the strange things that he contemplates on a daily basis. Whether that be receiving mail for a Mr K Dilkington, going on holiday, his day to day life with Suzanne or Ricky winding him up, Karl’s diary never disappoints.

#8: Pilko Pump Pants
“An Idiot Abroad” (2010-12)

The second series of “An Idiot Abroad” sees Karl complete a bucket list, and one of the only things on the list that Karl actually wants to do is to invent something. Drawing inspiration from his own global travels, and remembering what he needed most, he designs what’s essentially a wearable chair. Karl swiftly names the not-so-fashionable contraption the Pilko Pump Pants, and he even takes his product onto a TV shopping channel. Heaven knows how many he sold.

#7: Knob at Night
“The Ricky Gervais Show” (2010-12)

Next, a discussion about the reality TV show, “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here” and one of Karl’s most memorable quotes. Debating the Bushtucker trials, Karl argues that the only difficulties the celebs should have with the eating challenges is that they’re forced to take them on an empty stomach. If Karl was on the show, he’d fill up on rice first, and go back to the Bushtucker bites later in the day. But then he summarises in awkward style, and Ricky pounces.

#6: KP the Clown
“The Moaning of Life” (2013-15)

We’re stateside next, and Karl meets a street dance crew who specialise in clown-themed performances. And our man quickly gets involved. After creating his own Crumpet Dance, perfecting his costume and choosing a clown name, he takes to the streets with the group. Understandably, Karl is usually reluctant to do most of the things that Ricky and Steve arrange for him. But this moment is made especially memorable because Karl is actually happy to be a part of it. Bless him.

#5: The Makeover
“An Idiot Abroad” (2010-12)

Next stop, Thailand - where Karl is given an experimental new look. The straight-faced comedian has undergone various changes in appearance throughout his travels - rocking wigs, botox and heavy make-up - but this is probably his most radical redesign. In fairness, he cuts quite a convincing woman, finishing off the look with fake eyelashes, a dress and accessories, and he clearly enjoys the pampered treatment. Even Karl himself is begrudgingly impressed with the final result - despite the five o’clock shadow.

#4: Teaching About Risk
“An Idiot Abroad” (2010-12)

Karl has a well-worn tendency to speak before he thinks, and often what he says can raise some eyebrows. So you might not have him down as an ideal candidate to stand in as a teacher. But, that’s what he’s doing here, as he’s invited to try and explain the concept of risk to a classful of kids. What follows is some very awkward conversations, some long-winded anecdotes, and some unnecessary demonstrations on a BMX. Let’s just stick to the day job, shall we Karl?

#3: Meeting Celso
“An Idiot Abroad” (2010-12)

A running theme in any Karl Pilkington show is how much the guy misses his home comforts - and this trip to Rio de Janeiro is worlds away from what he’s used to. Celso serves as Karl’s guide here, and he immediately challenges him to embrace the local way of life - by taking him to get waxed. And then they hit the shops, in search of some skimpy trunks. With a smooth and shiny back and suitable attire, it’s time to hit the beach. Celso’s in his element, but Karl, not so much.

#2: Cuddle Party
“An Idiot Abroad” (2010-12)

Today’s runner-up sees Karl driving Route 66, but then he makes a scheduled stop and is invited to a cuddle party - which is exactly what it sounds like. And Karl is clearly very uncomfortable. His hosts try to encourage him to relax, but this is one scenario in which Karl refuses to unwind - even negating the need to take off his hat. After backing away from every cuddle request he receives, he does relent enough to touch backs with someone else - but that’s as far as his awkwardness will allow.

#1: Cooking for the King
“An Idiot Abroad” (2010-12)

Taking today’s throne, a moment which sees Karl visit the African Ndebele Tribe, where he is given the privilege of cooking for the King. You might expect a little extravagance from Karl, but no. He’s a simple man with simple tastes, and his menu is far from adventurous. For the starter, a plate of crisps, some gummy worms, biscuits and an apple. For the main, beans and cheese on toast. And for dessert, chocolate cake with custard. It’s enough to put anyone off their dinner.
