Top 10 Best Glee Couples

Top 10 Best Glee Couples
VOICE OVER: Emily Brayton
Script written by Sadie Perkins

These are the Glee couples that made us gush and believe in love again. Jake and Marley (Jarley), Artie and Tina (Tartie), Tina and Mike (Tike), Quinn and Puck (Quick), Rachel and Jessie, Brittany and Santana (Brittana), Kurt and Blaine (Klaine), Rachel and Finn (Finchel) are some of the most beloved couples on the show that we so miss! Which Glee couple is your favorite? Comment below!

#10: Jake and Marley (Jarley)
A relationship that has has more ups and downs than a rollercoaster, Jake and Marley started dating after a myriads of he-said-she-saids, with Jake accepting Marley’s invitation to the Sadie Hawkins dance and kicking off their relationship. Revealing secrets and confessing mistakes, the dancing duo forges a bond of trust that stays relatively solid. Despite Jake’s playboy reputation and the jealousy issues both he and Marley have to work through, their commitment to being honest with each other keeps their friendship intact even after they decide to call it quits.

#9: Artie and Tina (Tartie)
The best relationships can come from people who were friends first. When Artie and Tina met for the first time, the two immediately hit it off, becoming fast friends rarely seen without the other. Both want the best for each other, and the couple weathers the obstacles that Artie’s disability and Tina’s ferocious ambition present with determination and a love for each other. Though things looked bleak for the two in the beginning, (Xref) Tina and Artie get the happy ending that they both deserved.

#8: Rachel and Jessie
Talk about an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. This couple gave Glee fans their fair share of frustration, relief, shock, and all the other emotions that come with Jesse and Rachel. Dating someone with sinister intentions isn’t the best way to start a relationship, but there was something behind this whirlwind duo that kept them holding on. They’re two talented and proud individuals who complemented each other’s voices and personalities, and audiences were both surprised and relieved to see them make it out of the relationship unscathed.

#7: Sam and Mercedes (Samcedes)
A romance largely kept secret, we all wish we’d gotten to see more of this mysterious flame between Sam and Mercedes. A couple with unending chemistry and sparks flying, these two never failed to encourage the other to chase their dreams. Faced with the knowledge that their lifestyles were headed in opposite directions, the model and singer made the decision to stay close friends, both proud that their ex-partner had accomplished their dreams… We’re not crying, you’re crying.

#6: Tina and Mike (Tike)
Who can forget about the infamous Chang Squared? Meeting at “Asian Camp,” Tina and Mike have some of the best chemistry on the show, with wicked senses of humour and mutual respect. In each other’s corners until the very end, they offer each other support with uplifting words when it’s needed the most. Although being together romantically didn’t work out for them, we can respect Asian Fusion for their unforgettable duets, humour, and above all, love.

#5: Quinn and Puck (Quick)
You can’t have a high school drama without romantic tension between the jock and the cheerleader. Though Quinn and Puck might have seemed like a stereotype, one thing that made this couple special was their ability to see their partner’s potential. They may have denied their true feelings, but seeing the best in each other made it easy for audiences to see how they really felt. Pulling together after the birth of their daughter, and never straying too far out of each other’s lives, Quinn and Puck rose above the stereotypical relationship to give audiences something special.

#4: Will and Emma (Wemma)
From the moment these two laid eyes on each other, we knew they were meant for each other. Uncomfortably sweet whenever they were together, this couple stole our hearts with a slow-burn love story. Standing by each other through thick and thin, stealing glances from across the room, Will and Emma danced the will-they-won’t-they line long enough to drive audiences crazy as they waited for them to eventually end up together.

#3: Brittany and Santana (Brittana)
Friends with benefits rarely stay that way, as Brittany and Santana’s relationship showed us. Whether they were getting busy on Brittany’s bed, or breaking hearts when their long distance relationship became too much, this couple got everyone rooting for them from the get-go. Clicking in a way that made their time onscreen seem effortless, their confessions of love and promises to stay together forever had us laughing, crying, and cheering when this ⅔ of the Unholy Trinity was on deck. Assume whatever you want about them, but the love these two have for each other is as solid as it comes.

#2: Kurt and Blaine (Klaine)
Partners in crime and partners for life, this gorgeous couple has so much chemistry they could rival Walt Whitman. Hitting it off after a botched undercover first meeting, Kurt and Blaine are fast friends that grow into something more. No one can deny the looks they shot each other from across the room were accidental, and watching their romance blossom between serenades and dance breaks was a beautiful thing. Going the distance and hijacking the Brittana wedding, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room when these two finally said “I do.”

#1: Rachel and Finn (Finchel)
With so many “almost” moments to cause us physical pain, Rachel and Finn’s relationship was one for the ages. The buildup and flirting between these two was almost as good as their time together, which broke our hearts when it was cut tragically short. Finn and Rachel were always there for each other and willing to make tough sacrifices to help each other reach their dreams, giving us a love to believe in. Shattering hearts with her final speech about Finn and her goodbyes to “her person,” Rachel showed us that if you love someone, you should always let them know.
